FAQS
Collapsible content
What is the coverage area of one LungIQ?
LungIQ tracks your cough from up to 16 feet away and seamlessly transfers data over Bluetooth within a 26-foot range of your phone.
Can I take my LungIQ with me?
Yes – you can easily attach your LungIQ to your phone and take it with you throughout the day. With its 10-hour, built-in battery life, LungIQ enables you to enjoy continuous cough tracking and breathing insights wherever you are, then recharges when you’re back at home.
What happens if my LungIQ and phone are separated?
LungIQ tracks your cough from up to 16 feet away. If at any time your LungIQ is positioned more than 26 feet from your phone with the installed BreatheLabs app – for example, if it’s with your child at school or in their bedroom at night while they sleep – the LungIQ will continue recording but pause automatic data uploads to the app. Recorded data will automatically upload to the app once your LungIQ is back in range of your phone.
What should I know about billing and cancellation for my LungIQ plan?
Your LungIQ care plan costs $149 per year. Your first renewal will occur 13 months after your initial purchase, giving you a full month to try it out before your annual subscription begins. After that, your plan will renew every 12 months. You can cancel anytime – you’re always in control of your data and can delete your account whenever you choose.
What do I get with LungIQ and what do I need to use it?
LungIQ comes with magnetic connectors to easily attach the device to your phone. You’ll need Bluetooth enabled on your phone to connect and start tracking. LungIQ is FCC-certified for safety and compliance.
Does the app distinguish between my coughs and coughs from others in the area? How about other sounds?
Our tracking technology distinguishes your cough from any other cough. It’s all about your cough, your personalized insights, and your well-being.
Using a proprietary AI algorithm, LungIQ can distinguish your cough from others in the room. After collecting around 250 coughs, the system is ready to calibrate and create your unique cough profile. This personalized calibration allows LungIQ to accurately identify and display only your coughs, filtering out all others.
Prior to calibration, LungIQ will register all coughs in the monitoring area. But once your cough profile is set, only your data will be shown—ensuring precise tracking and insights tailored specifically to you!
How is LungIQ powered and how long does the battery last?
LungIQ uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of 500 mAh. A full charge takes about one hour and provides at least 10 hours of continuous use. Charging is easy with the included USB cable.
